From April 6 to 8, 2024, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), in collaboration with the WOW Foundation, will present for the second year the WOW – Women of the World festival, the largest event in the world for women, femininities and non-binary people.

After the positive response of last year’s first festival, which was embraced by the public with more than 3,600 visits, this year, WOW Athens tries to once again raise the most pressing issues in the fight for gender equality, locally as well as internationally, but also to give a platform to the voices and stories that inspire and give hope for a just world.

Those who visit the WOW Athens 2024 festival, which in Greece is presented in collaboration with the British Council, will have the opportunity to explore a rich program that includes: talks with guest activists from Greece and abroad, discussions on key issues that concern women and femininities around the world, from gender-based violence to gender stereotypes in the workplace, and from reproductive rights to mental health, empowerment workshops, inspirational performances and film screenings, concerts by well-known artists, mentoring sessions and more.
