David Lynch Heritage Band Presents “Truths be Told” at Jazzét Music Hall

1 min read

The atmospheric world of composer, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist David Lynch comes to Jazzét Music Hall for two special evenings on June 13 and 14, with the presentation of his latest album, Truths be Told.

Balancing contemporary jazz, cinematic lyricism and free improvisation, the new work unfolds as a deeply personal musical journey. Through original compositions that draw from spiritual jazz, the contemporary European jazz scene, as well as ambient and film music influences, Lynch creates rich sonic landscapes that invite listeners into a space of reflection and discovery.

At the heart of Truths be Told lies a strong narrative impulse. Melodies emerge gradually through layers of sound, rhythm and silence, creating an experience that feels both intimate and expansive.

As the artist explains:

“The music reveals itself through layers of sounds and voices, allowing new images and new truths to emerge each time. It is a process of revelation rather than explanation.”

On stage, the David Lynch Heritage Band transforms each composition into a living exploration, where improvisation, intensity and atmosphere coexist organically. The result is a performance with cinematic flow and emotional depth that extends beyond the traditional boundaries of a jazz concert.

Joining David Lynch are acclaimed musicians with a strong presence on the Greek and international jazz scene:

• Aristeidis Chatzistavrou – acoustic, classical and electric guitars
• Orestis Petrakis – piano, keyboards
• Kostas Patsiotis – upright and electric bass
• Hector Remsak – drums, percussion
• David Lynch – tenor and soprano saxophones, vocals, flute, piccolo, recorder and cajón

Audience members will also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Truths be Told following each performance.
