An exhibition that emphasizes on the importance of Ceramics Art and how it can foster basic life values, such as “Together in Simplicity”
In the aftermath of grapes harvest, Tales in Tiles experience store, together with 6 ceramists, are setting the table with cheese and wine, served in ceramic pieces of Art. In particular, six ceramists, from Turkey, Kavala, Lamia and from Athens, Neos Kosmos and Nea Smyrni, have been invited to create works inspired by the concept of wine harvest, each putting their own personal style and signature.
Dilek Oz, Kostas Karakitsos, Stratos Karakitsos, Nikos Katsoulas (Lavatoy ceramics workshop), Kallia Panopoulou and Christianna Theodoratou bring their ceramic pieces, and Tales in Tiles set the table.

The idea was to meet with simplicity around a table with wine, cheese, ‘soil and water’.
More specifically, with this exhibition we try to emphasize on the importance of Ceramics Art and how it can foster basic life values, such as “Together in Simplicity”. “Together” as in the fact that ceramics are works of art, while at the same time they can be utilitarian. Unlike most arts that are for the fulfillment of the soul, ceramics can at the same time be included in our everyday life. “Simplicity” as in the raw material of clay, soil and water, as well as the fire needed to bake the ceramic object.
The Works of the exhibition, though, are not that simple, as they contain the experience, the special skills, the aesthetics and of course the soul of each one of the Artists who are hosted, separately.
On the opening day, wines will be served in the courtesy of the Cava Vinifera, and Markou, Papastratis, Harlaftis and Papantonis wineries, as well as cheeses in the courtesy of the Paradosiako Bakaliko store, in Ilioupoli.
