A Christmas Sunday Brunch at Tales in Tilestogether with DIMY

1 min read

The Tales in Tiles experience store and the artistic brand DIMY celebrate their new collaboration and invite you to a special Christmas event: a festive Sunday brunch at the Tales in Tiles space in Koukaki.

Taking a gentle pause from the season’s noise and the often impersonal nature of gift-giving, DIMY and Tales in Tiles host a celebration of Art and small moments of warmth-for children and adults alike-bringing people together in the true spirit of Christmas.

During the event, curator and founder of DIMY, Leoni Gravia, will speak about the philosophy behind her new venture, and specifically about the childlike part of ourselves that Art awakens. She will also present the stories behind the limited-edition prints created in collaboration with selected artists—stories of life encounters that shape who they are.

The event will feature works by: Giannis Efthymiou, Theodora Efstathopoulou, Alexandra Manousaki, Haroula Nikolaidou, Xenia Papadopoulou, Iphigenia Papadatou, Cleopatra Tsali, and Joanna Burtenshaw.

The event will also include elements of interaction and play.

DIMY’s limited-edition prints will be presented in dialogue with the unique ceramics and other artworks of Tales in Tiles, curated by the space’s founder Stavroula Chorinou. All works will be available for exploration, sparking conversation and inspiring thoughtful, conscious gift choices.

And of course, you will have the chance to enjoy delicious treats prepared with care by the Tales in Tiles team!

For the past 4.5 years, the Tales in Tiles experience store has been promoting Art and artists as a means of bringing people together to share ideas, but above all values, which today are increasingly challenged across the world.

The emphasis is on ceramics, with workshops taking place almost daily for anyone wishing to discover this ancient yet deeply enjoyable Art.

However, Tales in Tiles embraces all forms of Art, photography, painting, collage, textiles, jewelry, through exhibitions, creative workshops, and the works represented in its exhibition/shop space.

DIMY (Day I Met You)

The visual identity of the newly founded DIMY brand celebrates spontaneity and childlike wonder in the creative process, through dialogue and collaboration with selected contemporary artists. DIMY collections include wall coverings, cut-out wall pieces, and silkscreen prints that transform personal spaces into environments of imaginative exploration.

DIMY also organizes experiential art events that function as spaces of play, experimentation, and pause, aiming to reshape the relationship between artwork and creator and propose new ways for audiences to connect with Art.
