Continuing Gazarte’s unique musical encounters with iconic jazz artists, the most influential jazz pianist of the last twenty years – Brad Mehladau – along with the exceptional Felix Moseholm on bass and Jorge Rossy on drums, will come to the Gazarte Main Stage on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th October.
One of the most lyrical and intimate voices on the contemporary jazz scene, Brad Mehldau has charted a unique course that combines the essence of jazz exploration, classical romanticism and pop charm, giving us total aesthetic pleasure.
Critically acclaimed for his own band and internationally renowned for his collaborations with Pat Metheny, Renee Fleming and Joshua Redman, Mehldau continues to garner accolades and admiration from jazz aficionados and music lovers alike.

Whether with his trio or as a soloist, Mehldau has delivered stunning reinterpretations of songs by composers such as The Beatles, Cole Porter, Radiohead, Paul Simon, Gershwin and Nick Drake, while continuing to develop his considerable catalogue of original compositions.
