National Theatre Live brings All My Sons to the Megaron

1 min read

The Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall presents, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 20:00, in the Alexandra Trianti Hall, the recorded broadcast of the National Theatre production of All My Sons by Arthur Miller, directed by Ivo Van Hove.

One of the most important works of American theatre, All My Sons sharply explores the boundaries between personal success and moral responsibility. At its center is the Keller family: the father, Joe, has built his wealth through the wartime industry, yet his past is burdened with accusations of criminal practices that led to the deaths of 21 pilots-and a controversial acquittal that fails to erase the shadows.

The absence of his son Larry, missing in the war, permeates the entire play, as the family struggles to maintain a fragile balance between truth and illusion. As secrets unfold, the lines between lies and truth, greed and morality, become increasingly and painfully clear.

The direction by Ivo Van Hove, one of the most acclaimed contemporary theatre directors, brings out the intensity and precision of Miller’s dramaturgy in a production that received outstanding critical acclaim.

The cast features leading actors of the international stage, with Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as Joe Keller, alongside Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Paapa Essiedu, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Hayley Squires.

A gripping theatrical experience that raises timeless questions about responsibility, justice, and the personal cost of our choices.
