Pencil on paper and Ιnk on stage: The light and shadow of the body, according to Papaioannou.

While Dimitris Papaioannou will be hunting the body of desire on stage at the final five – sold out in a blink of an eye – performances of INK in Athens, Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall will also be the point where you can purchase the first ever book with his drawings.

NOMAS Publications has assembled the sketches from life that Dimitris Papaioannou created over the past three summers in Anafi and published a collector’s book that will be available exclusively at the Megaron during the five performances, prior to its release in bookstores across Greece and internationally.

The loving gaze of painter Papaioannou upon the nude bodies sunbathing in the Cycladic setting, in a collection curated by himself, is the ideal light flipside to the dark performance that has traveled the world and now returns to its birthplace, Megaron.
