Electric Litany present their new single “Reciprocate”, the second track from their forthcoming album Desires, which will be released internationally in October via Flying Hearts, with distribution in Greece by Inner Ear.
Following the dark and atmospheric “Diamonds” (June 2025), “Reciprocate” introduces a more direct and mature pop approach, blending the traditional sound of the Persian santoor with electronic elements, synths, bass, and minimal rhythms. The result is a song that balances between the familiar and the new, with lyrics that speak of truth, resilience, and the power of love.
Based in London and with three albums to their name, Electric Litany continue to explore their sound with both consistency and experimentation. Their new album Desires is set for release in October.
The recording took place at the legendary Fish Factory Studio – a former fish-processing plant – in Neasden, London. Production was handled by Electric Litany together with their long-time collaborator George Botis, with engineering by George Botis and mixing by George Botis and Alexandros Miaris.
