Helmos Mountain Festival 2026 unveils its 3rd music stage – See this year’s line-up

2 mins read

Helmos Mountain Festival turns four this year and celebrates by redefining what a mountain festival experience can be. Set within a landscape of extraordinary natural beauty, where the mountain is not merely a backdrop but the true protagonist, the festival that paved the way for a new generation of festivals in Greece continues to evolve and innovate.

This year, it takes its next major step: reaching the summit with the launch of its 3rd music stage.

At the top of Styga, at 2,340 meters, in one of the most mythical locations of Mount Helmos, a new setting is being created unlike anything we have experienced before. In a place deeply charged with mythology, where the waters of Styx were once tied to the oaths of the gods and the legend of Achilles, music takes on an entirely different dimension. There, Giannis Aggelakas together with Nikos Veliotis will present the project LYKOI LIVE in a specially designed space, transforming the natural landscape into a living sonic environment with the sky itself as the only limit. A moment of connection with ourselves, the place, mythology, and music.

The Main Stage is also being upgraded and transformed into a multidimensional musical field featuring Koinoi Thnitoi, Giannis Haroulis, Ioulia Karapataki, Mikro, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Pavlos Pavlidis, Vevilos – Anser (Eversor), Miltos Paschalidis and Pyx Lax.

Every day, after the live acts come to an end, the stage transforms into a dynamic contemporary electronic music experience where different musical worlds collide. Internationally acclaimed artists such as Valeron, Klangphonics – with the hybrid live act that has established them internationally – and Korolova, one of the most recognisable names in the melodic techno scene, will transport audiences into an entirely different universe.

Helmos Mountain Festival remains true to its philosophy: a festival of contrasts that brings together different musical worlds – from the Greek music scene to contemporary electronic music – just as nature unites diverse elements into one cohesive landscape.

At the Alpine Stage, a multi-layered programme unfolds featuring distinctive creators from the contemporary Greek scene with a completely different vibe. On Saturday, Skiadareses and Nefeli Fasouli take over the stage, while on Sunday Dimitris Mystakidis and Chatzifragketa bring their own unique energy to the festival. A stage that further strengthens the multi-themed character of the overall experience.

And the journey does not stop on the mountain.

On Monday, Helmos Mountain Festival descends to the central square of Kalavryta for a lunchtime traditional celebration with Grigoris Samolis.

A celebration open to everyone where music brings us together as one big company.

Because Helmos Mountain Festival has never been just a music festival, the programme begins early in the morning and unfolds throughout the entire day. Wellness activities, sports, and nature experiences set the rhythm: hiking, mountain activities, moments of relaxation, and meaningful connection.

The goal is simple: to leave behind the pace of the city and return to nature and to our own nature. If you dream of waking up on the mountain, drinking your coffee with a view, gazing at the stars without rushing, and creating authentic moments with other people, then… join us on Mount Helmos.

For the full programme of side events, which is continuously being enriched, visit the festival’s official website.

Because Helmos Mountain Festival is not something you simply watch. It is something you live.

This year, the experience becomes more multidimensional than ever before and literally reaches a new level. The festival that showed the way returns to carve out even more contemporary paths. It evolves, dares, and stands out — not only for what it presents, but for the way it makes you remember it.
