“Aristophobia Nervosa”: Lia Hide and her new bold and daring album

1 min read

Lia Hide presents her new album, “Aristophobia Nervosa”, her first record in the Greek language, a bold and daring work that combines spoken word, avant-pop, and theatrical performance into a powerful live experience. The performance will take place on Thursday, December 18th at 21:30, at THEATRE OF THE NO

Through a deeply personal and poetic lens, “Aristophobia Nervosa” explores the fears and contradictions of modern existence the struggle to grow up, the search for identity, anger, love, and death.

With dark melodies and cinematic textures, the music transforms into a theatrical narrative: song gives way to speech, and the sound of the performance shifts from avant-garde to dark wave, from dream pop to post rock, moving seamlessly from the raw to the tender. Joining her on stage are Aki’Base on bass, George Rados on drums, and Odysseas Tsiritas on guitars.

Lia Hide has built a distinctive international career, performing across Europe, North America, Canada, and China, at festivals, showcases, and independent art spaces. She has released five albums, collaborated with numerous artists, and earned multiple awards for her music videos at international festivals and competitions.

“Aristophobia Nervosa” is released with the support of the “Institute for Experimental Arts” and is available on vinyl for the first time through Austria’s Second Records, with worldwide distribution.
