Following the response of the audience and the now sold-out performance of Cigarettes After Sex in Athens on Friday 25th October, a second day will be added on Saturday 26th October.

Cigarettes After Sex, one of the most unique and sensual bands in the world, are coming to Athens as part of their world tour to create an atmosphere of eroticism, emotion and romance at the first big live show of the autumn season on 25th October at the OAKA basketball hall.

Cigarettes After Sex is an ambient pop collective formed in 2008, led by singer-songwriter Greg Gonzalez and based in Brooklyn, New York. With influences from Mazzy Star, Cocteau Twins and Red House Painters, their music features elements of dream pop, ambient and slowcore.

Their dynamic 2012 release of their first EP. “I. was one of the biggest surprises of the year, with the well-received singles ‘Affection’ and ‘K.’. The creators of some of the most beautiful tunes we’ve ever heard, including the ever-popular ‘Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby’, Cigarettes After Sex have managed to rack up millions of views on YouTube for each song.
