To mark the Olympic torch relay in Greece, the French Embassy and the French Institute of Greece, in partnership with Flux Laboratory, are presenting The Olympic Cypher, a series of dance performances under the artistic direction of choreographer Ilias Chatzigeorgiou.

To celebrate break, the new Olympic discipline at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP 2024), a series of break performances will be held from 16 to 26 April in various towns and cities in Greece, accompanying the Olympic torch relay from Olympia to Athens.

Ilias Chatzigeorgiou and the dancers create a dance circle (Cypher) and improvise using common thematic elements and movements. In each city, the group meets local dancers who join in the performance and represent the local dance community.
