Culture and nature come together once again at the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park, as Festival at the Park returns from July to September 2026 with a programme that spans music, theatre, cinema and cultural events. Set against one of the most striking landscapes in the Cyclades, this year’s edition brings acclaimed Greek and international artists to a venue where artistic expression unfolds in harmony with the Aegean environment.

At the edge of the Ai-Yiannis Detis peninsula, where the Cycladic landscape remains authentic and unspoiled, the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park continues its long-standing commitment to shaping a different cultural vision for the Aegean. Returning from July to September 2026, the Festival at the Park presents a rich and diverse programme of music, theatre and cultural events for audiences of all ages, bringing together acclaimed artists, creators and ensembles from Greece and abroad.

More than a summer festival, however, Paros Park has evolved into a vibrant cultural hub for the Cyclades. It is a place where nature, history, artistic expression and local community life coexist organically, emphasizing not only the visitor experience of summer, but also the deeper cultural identity of the island. At a time when many islands are increasingly associated with seasonality and mass tourism, Paros Park continues to invest in a different vision for the Cyclades: one that promotes an open, participatory and meaningful cultural life throughout the year.

Music takes centre stage in this year’s programme, ranging from experimental jazz and world music to contemporary Greek songwriting and opera. Martha Frintzila and the Kubara Project open the festival, while Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou come together for one of the most anticipated concerts of the summer. Markus Stockhausen, together with guitarist Vassilis Rakopoulos, present Music of the Stars, while the anniversary edition of Opera Under the Stars celebrates its tenth year. The programme is further enriched by performances from Panos Vlachos, Fotini Velesiotou, Novel 729 and Andreas Polyzogopoulos, before concluding in September with the distinctive appearances of the Dryades Quartet and the Lycabettus Ensemble.

The theatre programme features highlights such as an international production of Euripides’ Medea, The Tricksters by Stratis Myrivilis, and the beloved Mr Stink by David Walliams.

At the same time, Cine Enastron, the Park’s open-air cinema, returns from mid-June with a rich programme of carefully selected film screenings curated by Chrysostomakis Laktaridis, offering unforgettable cinematic evenings under the Aegean night sky.

As every year, the traditional Panigiri of Ai-Yiannis Detis holds a special place in this year’s programme. Taking place on August 28, 2026, in the courtyard of the historic monastery’s monastic cells, this authentic Cycladic celebration welcomes both residents and visitors, honouring local traditions while reflecting Paros Park’s enduring commitment to preserving and celebrating the island’s cultural heritage.

Until September, visitors can also enjoy the important photography exhibition Memories of the Aegean by internationally renowned photographer Robert A. McCabe at Porto Aoussa Art Space in Naoussa. Through 90 selected photographs, the exhibition offers a rare visual record of the Greek islands from the 1950s through the late 1970s, inviting visitors on a moving journey through memory, authenticity and the human scale of the Aegean before the era of mass tourism.

Visitors to the Park can further explore the permanent Museum exhibition, discover the walking trails and scenic routes maintained by the Park’s dedicated team leading to the iconic Ai-Yiannis Detis Lighthouse, and visit important landmarks of the peninsula, including the historic Monastery of Ai-Yiannis Detis and the traditional boatyard.

All events take place within a unique natural setting of protected ecological and geological significance, where artistic experience is inseparable from the landscape, the sea and the memory of place.

Since its establishment in 2009, the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park has continued to invest in the meeting point between culture and nature, aspiring to create a pioneering model of sustainable development for the islands of the Aegean. It remains a space open to residents, visitors, artists and new ideas alike.

Because culture on the islands does not need to be seasonal. It can be a way of life.
