T.A.F. / the art foundation hosts and presents the group photography exhibition “Our Stories”, featuring the work of 21 contemporary photographers. The exhibition opens on Thursday, November 27, curated by Sofia Dalamagka.
Every photograph is a fragment, a piece of a story that was never fully completed. For us, and for others. A glance, a gesture, a fleeting moment that reveals something deeper: an experience, a feeling, a memory. Visual narratives of inner landscapes. Stories of contemporary life and its alienations: urban loneliness, the longing for togetherness.
Our stories but also theirs. Of passersby and chance encounters. All transformed into image and into word.
The exhibition “Our Stories” brings together images that recount the stories we carry: personal, collective, true. Through the photographers’ lenses, moments of everyday life emerge, portraits of people, places of the world, and fragments of existence that bring us closer to one another.
Each image is a reminder that even though our paths are unique, we share common threads: the need for expression, the power of connection, pain and joy, hope. They allow us to stand before them and discover, or invent, our own version of the story.
The group exhibition “Our Stories” is an invitation to see one another with more understanding and sensitivity. It is a space where the image becomes a bridge connecting us to others. A celebration of the human experience for those who dare to look deeper, beyond the obvious.
Parallel actions and workshops will take place throughout the exhibition.
