“One of One Collection”: A New Exhibition by Vasilis Moralis

1 min read

Visual artist Vasilis Moralis presents his new exhibition at the Art Space of the Saronikos Cultural Society POLYTROPON, introducing a body of work that moves between sculpture and wearable form.

Vasilis Moralis does not approach jewelry as a decorative object. He treats it as an act of micro-sculpture, a process of carving into matter, revealing forms that already pre-exist within the metal. The works of the One of One Collection are unique pieces that belong to the realm of wearable art. Each piece is an autonomous small-scale sculpture that can be worn, transferring the sculptural experience onto the body. It is never repeated. It exists once. As form. As idea. As energy.

The artist’s practice bridges sculpture and wearability. Detail functions as an internal code for the artist himself. Every incision, every mark, every intervention forms part of a personal language translated into matter. His works carry a sense of initiation like small gateways that condense intensity and silence at the same time.

The exhibition will also present, for the first time, new collections that signal an expansion of his visual language and further reinforce the philosophy of uniqueness that defines his work.

The exhibition will be hosted in the ever-welcoming and distinctive space of PES POLYTROPON in Kalivia Attica, known for its rich cultural activity and its ongoing collaboration with emerging visual artists. It will run from March 1 to March 15. On March 4, Vasilis Moralis himself will be present at the exhibition from 15:00 onwards, inviting the public into dialogue. He will speak about his process, his relationship with matter, and the inner quest that permeates each creation.

This exhibition offers an opportunity to encounter a body of work that redefines jewelry as a visual act— as condensed sculptural experience, as singular presence.
