A journey with leading photographer Sebastião Salgado into the human landscape and the soul of nature. For 50 years, photographer Sebastião Salgado has traveled across all continents documenting the changes of humanity. He has witnessed major events in our recent history. Present in wars, famines, waves of refugees, and a fellow traveler with people from different races and nationalities, he continues to travel the planet in search of its pristine spots, wild flora and fauna, and unique, majestic landscapes, in a huge project capturing the beauty of planet Earth.
Sebastião Salgado, his images, his stories and the wisdom he has gained through his unique experiences, are presented in The Salt of the Earth through the eyes of his son, Juliano Salgado, and Wim Wenders (Buena Vista Social Club, Pina).
