olina shares her sophomore album “What moved you?”

1 min read

With her new release, olina invites us into her most personal world, guided by a single question: “What moved you?” It is there that twelve stories unfold through music that moves freely from classical to soul, from pop to electronic, from the gentle to the intense, and from the familiar to the unpredictable.

An album that reflects the countless emotional shifts we experience within a single day those very shifts that make our world feel slightly surreal. In collaboration with papatanice, Mellowsophy Music, and musicians met in real-life sessions, the songs carry us along: into a bar, onto a turbulent flight, to a fortune teller’s table, to the Friday street market places where our fears and desires momentarily find peace with one another.

olina asks us to take a brief pause, moving against rhythms that race at the speed of light. To stop for a moment, to look deeper, and to ask what truly makes us feel what we hear what moves us, what touches us.
