After winning the Eurovision Song Contest, Athens is set to be the first stop on the Break The Code Europe Tour 2025
Nemo is coming to Greece for the first time for a unique concert on Wednesday 12th March at Floyd Live Venue. Just a few months after his triumph at the Eurovision Song Contest and as part of the biggest headline tour of his career, he is adding Greece to the European stops of his tour and as the first stop of this great journey.
As he explains: “There are no words to express how excited I am to be performing in Europe for the first time in the spring of 2025. Watching this community grow with my music has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever experienced and I can’t wait to meet them all in person“.
Nemo won the hearts of music fans with his performance of ‘The Code‘ at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden. Nemo’s energetic show and stage presence, combined with his unique voice and sincere and emotional attitude, effortlessly captivated the audience and gave Switzerland its first Eurovision title since 1988 (Celine Dion).
“The Code” continues to climb the international and global charts. This summer Nemo performed at various festivals including the Pride Festival in Madrid, Barcelona and Cologne. New songs will be released soon.
A few words about Nemo
Born in 1999 in Biel, a small bilingual town in Switzerland, Nemo has been playing violin, piano and drums since he was a little boy.
At the age of 13, Nemo responded to an ad in the newspaper and auditioned for a role in the musical “I’ve never been to New York”, where he stayed for a year.
In 2016, Nemo became overnight famous as a rapper after his performance in SRF Virus (#Cypher) went viral on social media.
This was followed by the release of two EPs, seven of which went straight to the official Swiss charts, with songs such as “Ke Bock”, “Du” and “Himalaya” now classics of the Swiss repertoire, going gold or platinum. By the age of 18, Nemo had already won five Swiss music awards.
2020 marks the beginning of a period of change: Nemo starts writing and producing for other artists, while taking his first steps beyond the Swiss borders and releasing his first songs with English lyrics. Nemo explores themes of gender identity, mental health and finding one’s place in the world. Nemo is currently based in London.
