For the fifteenth consecutive year, the International Micro μ Festival returns to its autumn rendezvous. The festival, warmly embraced both in Greece and internationally, comes back with even more energy, from September 25 to 27, bringing its “micro” films to Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Veria, Rethymno, as well as major European capitals such as Copenhagen and Paris.
With live screenings held simultaneously in all venues, Micro μ continues to create a unique experience of collective cinematic celebration – crafted with the love, immediacy, and handmade character that have defined it for fifteen years.
Competition – The Big Night
On Saturday, September 27, at 18:30 (Greek time), audiences across all festival cities will watch 15 short films by Greek filmmakers and cast their votes live for their favorite film. Audience participation is at the heart of the festival, as it ultimately determines the outcome, preserving the direct, collective, and participatory nature of the event.

Student & International Sections
Micro μ continues to support emerging filmmakers through the Student Competition, where twelve films will compete for the title of “Favorite Student Film.”
At the same time, in the International Section, audiences will discover 10 award-winning films from the global festival circuit, all premiering in Greece.
The awards presented to the winners of the Competition and the Student Section amount to over €3,000, offered by the festival’s organizing committee along with RGB studios and ABFAB Productions.
