The CRAFT RIOT FESTIVAL returns this year to shake things up with a two-day celebration full of creativity, contemporary aesthetics, and artistic defiance seen through the eyes of emerging creators.
Athens is getting ready to be filled with intensity, artistic freedom, and handmade revolution on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, at the impressive Machine Workshop space of Technopolis City of Athens.
Craft Riot Festival is a free, unconventional festival that brings together art, speech, and action. It embraces the handmade, material nature of artistic works, giving space to disruptive artistic voices that create outside systems, experiment, and challenge norms through authentic expression.
At CRAFT RIOT FEST, you’ll find the very core of contemporary art, diverse, authentic, and bold – with over 150+ independent artists showcasing their unique creations!

An intense art-bazaar vibe and a visual experience aimed at promoting the new Greek art scene, encouraging public engagement with art, and fostering networking among artists who create and express themselves freely – united by a shared need for authentic expression and social commentary.
The lights of the Machine Workshop at Technopolis City of Athens will turn on:
- Saturday, February 7 at 14:00
- Sunday, February 8 at 11:00
and will remain on until 22:00 both days.
Two days of inspiration, expression, plenty of music, and artistic energy where you’ll discover today’s visual landscape through the eyes of new creators.
